Everyone works according to the schedule that best suits their productivity. We’re mostly remote, with in-office meetings encouraged whenever it best suits the needs of a project. Time off is given when asked for with the expectation that we all care enough about the projects we take not to jeopardize their success. We pull long hours sometimes for each other as much as any given client.

Marketing & Sales Lead
Marketing & Sales Lead
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Business Development Lead to join our visionary team and explore new sectors where our presence is limited. The ideal candidate will possess a keen understanding of the design industry and a proven track record of cultivating relationships, driving sales, and expanding business opportunities. As the Sales and Business Development Lead, you will play a pivotal role in identifying new clients, forging strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth through our groundbreaking design solutions.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to penetrate target markets and achieve revenue targets.
Identify and prioritize prospective clients and strategic partners through market research, networking, and outreach efforts.
Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers, architects, designers, and stakeholders within the design and experiential industries.
Collaborate closely with our design and production teams to understand client needs and tailor innovative solutions that exceed expectations.
Lead sales presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations to effectively communicate the value proposition of our placemaking features and digital installations.
Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge.
Advising on strategy regarding the scaling of Digital Ambiance. As someone who has been with similar companies as they have scaled, Digital Ambiance will be looking to you for advice and feedback on how to successfully grow our business.
Track sales performance metrics, analyze market data, and generate actionable insights to optimize sales processes and drive continuous improvement.
On certain high-profile jobs and deals that you have led through the pipeline to a successful close, you would need to serve as executive director, choosing a team, managing high-level budgeting, and sticking with them through to completion to ensure their success. This would all depend on your workload and how many projects you were currently managing
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Design, or related field.
Proven track record of success in sales and business development roles within the design, architecture, or experiential industries.
Experience with project-based design, fabrication, or construction is preferred.
Deep understanding of design principles, technology trends, and the creative process is preferred.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to think strategically, identify opportunities, and develop tailored solutions that address client needs.
Strong leadership skills, organization, attention to detail, and results orientation.
Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools, Google Workspace, Slack, Asana.
Self-motivated with a passion for driving growth and exceeding targets.
Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
